Mike & Armin go back to basics and discuss a really interesting case in which a woman was hit head on in an auto crash. Unfortunately, this client suffered serious and long-term medical problems. The most significant of which was a traumatic hiatal hernia. Our attorney client asked us to help prove up his medical theory that the accident caused the hernia, and we went to the medical literature to find answers. We discuss what happened.

Mike & Armin welcome Anke Horacek, MD to this episode. Anke has been doing Medical/Legal Consulting for the past 5 years in Nebraska. Anke talks about a truck vs. tractor crash that resulted in catastrophic injuries for the farmer driving the tractor.
